Training

Rowing happens all year round from St Mary’s Gig Club, except when the winter storms force us into the local gyms. The club has a strong relationship with local fitness centres and cater for any experience.

Racing

St Mary’s gig club races at a variety of different levels. The World Pilot Gig Championships begins the season, which is followed by own our, inter-island ‘domestic’ racing season. Finally, the County Championships, held in Newquay, conclude the racing calendar.
